The magneto therapy machines generate high frequency electromagnetic fields (EMC) in which the magnetic component is almost equivalent to the electrical one. These electromagnetic fields are athermal, given that the reduced power and discontinuity of the signal (pulsed electromagnetic fields) allows the dispersion of the heat produced by the tissues. It is based on the principle that the elements that make up the human body are electromagnetic dipoles that can be influenced by the presence of any external magnetic field.
